I think the best improvement would be to get the cars off the park - too many parents dropping their kids off at the high school come racing down the roads in their 4 by 4s, the park staff drive their vehicles too fast, the crossing from my end of Forest Fields drops you right in the tram car park - and in summer loads of users park up on the grass - it's really frustrating if you're dog walking or out with children as it doesn't feel safe. It does seem to be a bit tidier now though, on the positive side!

Hi,

Firstly, I'd like to say I think using a blog to promote the improvement of the Forest. Embracing online social culture, very good.

My main point is I'm really please that the Forest is going to see a make-over. I went to school opposite for many years and we, as kids, barely dared go in the Forest. It wasn't run-down, so to speak, but a place that wasn't welcoming to families and children, with a number of vagrants always hanging around.

So, I'm throughly please this venture is going ahead. I hope you embrace a stylish, modern concept that opens the Forest to all, as a welcoming, relaxing and enticing spot.

Good luck!
